The Warren Lady Warriors came into their Pearl City Tournament battle against East Dubuque with a couple of decided disadvantages. To begin with, Warren hadn't beaten East Dubuque in several years, but the "biggest" difference was in the respective height of each team.

The Warriors might have had one girl taller than 5'6" on the floor, but if they did, she was only 5'7". But East Dubuque listed three girls at 5'11", another at 5'10", and three more at 5'9".
