Built in 1870, the Wesley United Methodist Church in Stockton is a classic example of nineteenth century architecture. It rests on a pleasant lawn and is landscaped with hedges, plants, flowers, and bushes. It is a brilliant white. The roof is peeked and at the front of the structure is a bell tower with a tall steeple that has a cross upon its top. Inside there is a choir loft, oak pews, and a modest pulpit. Tall stained-glass windows line the walls. It is in the glass in one of the windows that a story can be found.
