Sure, the Aquin Bulldogs had won the NUIC North, but who was going to remember that in three or four years. What teams want to legitimize their strong seasons is a Regional championship that can hang on the wall for all time. But in their championship battle with the Cinderella Panthers from Lena-Winslow, Aquin was in trouble.

The Bulldogs had already made six service errors, nine unforced errors, and the game was deadlocked at 25-25 with momentum on the side of Lena-Winslow as they had just tied the game on a kill in the middle from Molly Amendt.
