Lena Yard Of The Month

The Lena Beautification and LBPA has awarded The Yard of the Month for August to Steve and Sue Scheider on 417 E. Lena St. Steve is in charge of watering and Sue loves designing and adding new features to their yard. They use large containers that overflow with a variety of flowers plus many perennials that add color and interest to their yard. Old toy trucks, a tractor and tricycle are tucked away in the many flower beds. They especially enjoy a Weeping Redbud tree that blooms early in the spring. Sue is already planning on her fall and Christmas displays.
