About a year ago, we did the story about how the Stephenson County Board was raising fees for liquor licenses to bars and restaurants throughout the county, and how the extreme increase caused a major reaction from owners of those establishments.

Well, it would seem that the Finance Committee has yet to get the point that an increase is one thing, but an enormous increase in fees creates a wave of anger and resentment.
