LACF Makes VFW Donation

The announcement and presentation of a $500 grant to VFW Post 4857 from the Lanark Area Community Foundation (LACF) was made during Lanark’s recent Old Settler’s Day parade. These funds will be used for improvements around the area of the Veteran’s Memorial in the center of the Lanark Cemetery. Multiple new American flags and poles will be added around the perimeter and any remaining funds will go toward the addition of two more memorial walls.
