Taylor Dawson has been named the winner of the sixth annual Madelyn Nicole Greene Memorial Nursing Scholarship. Dawson has received a check of $500 to Highland Community College to pursue a career in nursing.

Dawson, the daughter of Stacey Grunder of Lena, graduated May 16, 2021, from Lena-Winslow High School. With a goal of becoming a pediatric nurse, Dawson is currently enrolled in the summer CNA program at HCC and plans to work as a CNA at the Freeport Health Network while attending the nursing program.
