Ever since the pitch count rule came into effect several years ago, the biggest factor that can determine the outcome of any High School baseball game is – who is on the mound. Every team tries to line up their "ace" for the bigger tests, while trying to use other pitchers on staff to get past what is seen as a weaker opponent.
