Those older individuals who live in Jo Daviess County and who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and may be struggling financially could qualify for assistance through the Senior Resource Center’s Jo Daviess Senior Safety Net grant funds, which are still available.

The funds, awarded by the Freeport Community Foundation, came in July during the second round of funding through the foundation from the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund.
