There have been some impressive Volleyball coaches in our region with a lot of years dedicated to their programs. But when it comes to kids who played for a program that returned to become a varsity head coach at another school, nobody has more "students of the game" than Sue Amendt of Lena-Winslow.

At present count, there have been six former players who are now, or were in the coaching ranks. And perhaps the most successful student, is Sadie McGowen of Warren who brought her undefeated in conference play squad to host the Panthers Thursday night in Warren.
