Snow is removed from John O'Boyle Field in Stockton to try and get it ready for the season opener on March 19th.
With the shortened seasons and schedules for High School sports that were made in order to even allow sports to take place, a brand new dilemma was suddenly imposed upon schools as they realized that the first home football games are only three weeks away.
How do you play the games without completely destroying your field?
Schools throughout the region have been trying to deal with the issue. Some are contacting artificial turf fields – asking if they can schedule their home games on them.
