Lena-Winslow held their annual Spelling Bee contest to determine who would represent them at the big Regional contest held later this year.
Each class competed to determine their respective three "grade" champions, and then the finals pitted all of the champions against each other to determine the top three Panther spellers.
Claiming top honors was eighth grader Madelyn Schierloh, followed by eighth grader Alyssa Daughenbaugh and seventh grader Max Duncan.
Individual grade champions were:
