Scales Mound FFA Hosts Blood Drive

On November 2, the American Red Cross collected 47 units of blood products at the Scales Mound drive. The FFA goal for the drive was 45 units, and 48 people came through the door to help.

Many thanks to our support team from the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the United Methodist Church, both of Scales Mound, for working the canteen to ensure our donors left well-fed and hydrated. Thank you to Tom and Karen Griffin for greeting our donors and making them feel welcome. A special thanks for the use of the Scales Mound Fire Station as our host facility.
