On October 21, presiding judge Michael P. Bald has announced that starting Thursday, October 22, 2020, the Stephenson County Courthouse will be instituting new restrictions as a result of the recent increase in cases of COVID-19 within the community.

As of Thursday, October 22, 2020, the Stephenson County Courthouse will only allow individuals with a court date or an appointment with agencies within the courthouse to be admitted.
