Edler Advances Alone

While the NUIC Boys were basically all placed into a Regional together and allowed to duke it out, for the girls – because there were so few full teams – they were shipped off to Byron where they had to try and compete with the likes of Boylan, Winnebago and Rockford Christian.

As for team results, Boylan dominated as they pulled away from Winnebago to win by 14 strokes. The highest finish by the local small schools was turned in by conference champion Galena, but even the Pirates were only able to finish in fifth place.
