Pearl City Update

Pearl City 4th Graders performed "Apple" science experiments for Johnny Appleseed day. They first saw the importance of hand-washing in the "Germy Apple" experiment. Several slices of apple were placed in the "control" bag that had not been touched by anyone. Next, several slices of apple were passed around the room and then placed into the "variable" bag. Students immediately washed their hands after touching the apple. They made predictions about what would happen, and then observed throughout the week to see if their predictions came true.
