The new solar farm in Lena is visible off of Cedarville Road as well as between the trees on Stagecoach near Brinker's Pit Stop.

Residents have seen the large solar array being constructed just outside of town on Cedarville Road, but few knew who was doing it, or what sparked the project.

The short answer is – the School District is going to pull in some major benefits – thanks in no small part to some creative work by Superintendent Tom Chiles.
