The election may still be months away, but with mail-in voting about to take place, we felt compelled to do some research on the proposed Fair Tax Amendment that Governor Pritzker and Springfield Democrats are proposing.

On its' surface, the proposal sounds "fair" as they loudly proclaim how the only reason for the proposal is to increase taxes on the wealthy while not affecting the lower and middle class.
