Fairgrounds Seeking Facelift Grant

Stephenson County Fairground is one of 11 finalists in Grinnell Mutual’s Fairground Facelift initiative. They were chosen from among 53 submissions across 13 states. 

With votes from community members, Stephenson County Fairground’s project could receive a grant of up to $3,000 to help make it happen. Their project “ADA-Compliant Wheelchair Ramp” will replace the warped, faded wheelchair ramp and entrance door with a long-lasting, ADA compliant ramp so that all fairground visitors can access the office.
