Warhawks Finally Fall

The Warhawks had to battle an All-Star team with players from Lena-Winslow (like Max Amendt above) as well as Orangeville, Monroe and Winnebago.
They said they'd play anybody, and a team of "all stars" from Lena-Winslow, Orangeville, Monroe and Winnebago got together to bring the Warren/Stockton Warhawks back down to earth after their 3-1 start to the summer season.
Game 1 was an exciting back and forth affair early on. The Warhawks started the scoring in the second inning using a Drew Mensendike single, a walk, and an RBI single by Keegan Phillips to take a 1-0 lead. But the Lena All Stars tied it up in the bottom of the inning on a Zack Baker single, a walk and an RBI single by George Brukwicki.
