Bald Eagle Essay Contest Deadline Reminder

The Sept. 1st deadline for Bald Eagle Essay Contest entries to be postmarked is rapidly approaching. The Eagle Nature Foundation’s Bald Eagle Essay Contest has two Divisions, Senior High School and Junior High School. There will be four winners in each Division receiving $100 First Place, $50 Second Place, $25 Third Place and $10 Fourth Place. The school sponsoring the First Place Winner in each Division will receive a trophy and $50.

Each essay must be 500 words or less and be entitled “What the Bald Eagle Means to Me”. Schools must pre-judge the entries that are sent in,...
