Wendy Kay Pickard, 63

Wendy Kay Pickard, age 63, of Kent, IL passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, IL.

She was born on January 20, 1957 in Houston, TX. Wendy married her soulmate, Gary Pickard on September 17, 1977.

She was a 1975 graduate of Pearl City High School. Wendy had worked as a beautician in her home for 15 years and went on to Nursing School and had worked as a CRNA for over 20 years. She was recently the recipient of the Bee Award through FHN. Wendy was a very devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She could always light up a room with her contagious smile and laugh. Wendy was a selfless person who always put others first and will be dearly missed by so many. You could always find her spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed attending Hockey games with her family and going on cruises with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; her daughter, Renee Pickard; her son, Ryan (Jennifer) Pickard; her grandchildren, Nakiya, Isaac, and Eli; her daughter-in-law, Christine Sloane; her niece, Alexandria McIntosh; her foreign exchange student who she loved like a daughter, Mio Yarimizu; her special friends, Chris Williams, Lori Robieson and countless others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dena; her granddaughter, Olivia; and her friend, Brian Williams.

The funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Zion Community Church in Pearl City at 1:00 p.m. There was a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery in Pearl City. Marlrose Anne Siebrandt, 67

Marirose “Posie” Anne Siebrandt, age 67, of Stockton passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at home. She was born April 3, 1953 in Evanston, IL to the late Charles and Marirose (Stolle) Bartels. Posie married Ronald Siebrandt on November 18, 1972 in Northbrook, IL.

She was a 1970 graduate of Marillac High School. She attended St. Francis College and graduated from Moraine Community College in Palos Hills. She had been in banking since college. Posie enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, and vacationing with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Siebrandt of Stockton; her son, Neal Siebrandt of Stockton; her daughter, Christina (Robert) Underhile of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her brother, Arthur Bartels of Shawano; her sisters, Suzy (Michael) Sitarski of Batavia, WI and Anne Marie (Tim) VanMaldegiam of Geneva, IL; her two grandchildren, Ronald and Allison.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles.

A memorial in her honor will be held at Brady-Gill Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL on Saturday, July 25th from 3:00 – 9:00 PM. Service to be provided by Pastor Paul Strand at 8:00 PM. A memorial fund has been established. Condolences may be shared at http://www.hermannfuneralhome.com.
