Just wanted to send you a collection of thoughts that have been running through my head for a long time. I finally decided to express them in writing to someone who will know what I’m talking about.

When I was a junior in high school at Freeport High School, I took an English class that was basically a Journalism class. The teacher was Miss Beulah Charmley, the toughest teacher you’d ever want to meet. One look from Beulah would reduce a person to about 5 inches tall, cringing with fear. But she knew her stuff, and when you learned from her, you kept it all stored up in your brain...
