Kerry also served 10 years on Davis/Dakota Baseball Association (D&D) board, he loved coaching not only his children but he loved all the players, even the opposing teams. It was always a friendly competition as Kerry was a good friend to all the coaches and players on both sides of the diamond. We had many laughs and stories after every game, especially if he threw in one of his trick plays.

In Kerry’s words, he would say, “Surround yourself with good people” he did just that and he was always there to help a friend in need.

He will always be remembered as a strong, hard working, fun loving man, but we surely can’t leave out, smart aleck! If he wasn’t giving you a hard time or teasing you, he was helping you.
