Owners of the Landmark Restaurant pull down the plywood covering their windows.

A little over a week after the riots had wreaked havoc on downtown Freeport, business owners and employees were out taking down some of the plywood used to cover windows, and trying to return to some sort of normalcy.

But it won't be easy.

We learned that, unfortunately, several business owners are going to have to pay to repair their broken glass windows by themselves as they deal with their own personal insurance companies.
