Korte Wins State FFA Proficiency

Jenna Korte of the Scales Mound FFA Chapter was selected as the Illinois FFA State Proficiency Winner in the area of Landscape Management.

Each year, the Illinois FFA recognizes students in 50 project areas for their Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs), work-based learning experiences. Students are evaluated on their agricultural skills and competencies, record keeping, leadership and involvement, and an interview. To be eligible for this state-level award, students must first be selected as winners in their project area at the chapter, section, and district levels.
