With twelve teams competing in the IHSA Speech Regional in Sterling last Saturday, it all came down to the final event to determine who would win the overall team title. Both Freeport and Sterling were in a deadlock with 56 points each, with points being awarded only for what kids do in their final placement at the Regional.
With both schools having an HDA (Humorous Duet Acting) competing in the final, all anyone could do was wait for the results.
