Twelve Schools will each send their best entry in the 14 speech events to Sterling this Saturday, but only four in each event will advance on to the Sectional competition
This Friday, area Speech teams will all compete in the IHSA Regionals, with our area going to Sterling. Similar to a track meet, there are 14 different Speech events, but at the Regional competition each school may only have one – and only one – entry in each of the 14 events. In addition, a kid may only enter into two different events – nobody may do more than that.
