Pec Tops Depleted Panthers

The Panthers were missing Isaiah Bruce against Pecatonica, and were unable to match the muscle of Isaac Sawyer.

One of the bigger stories of the game Tuesday night between the Lena-Winslow Panthers and Pecatonica Indians was not home yet.

Isaiah Bruce and his family had gone to Atlanta so Isaiah could play in the High School All Star game Monday night, and although they left to come back home Tuesday, making the more than 1200 mile trek in time just wasn't going to happen.

"I got a text from him today," said head coach Kyle Benson. "They were on the road, but he didn't think they were going to make it."

Without Bruce in the paint, Pecatonica's Isaac Sawyer took control early, and never let go.
