Eastland got 20 steals that led to ten break away baskets to knock off Stockton in the opener for both teams.

Both the Stockton Blackhawks and Eastland Cougars got their Boys Basketball season tipped off in non-conference action against each other at Stockton last Monday night. And while there are some strong reasons to be optimistic for both teams, it was the quick hands of Eastland that led to ten transition layups in the Cougar's 55-40 victory.
