Maybe it was because I was a member of a fraternity, or maybe it was because 20 year old guys tend to pull pranks on each other all the time, but when I was in college, getting “pimped” was a major deal.

A “pimp” was a practical joke you pulled on a fraternity brother. They ran the entire spectrum from hanging all of the belongings of one guy – furniture, clothes, everything – in a tree, all the way to the time we picked up one guy’s car and placed it on the platform stage sitting in the middle of the wading pond. (It was an MG Midget, so ten guys had no trouble in picking it...
