Safe Sleep Education

The Stephenson County Health Department’s Family Connects Illinois, Healthy Families Illinois, Family Case Management and WIC programs are working to help prevent sleep related infant deaths in Stephenson and JoDaviess Counties.

During the month of October, there will be a safe sleep display located at the Stephenson County Health Department reinforcing to parents that the safest way for a baby to sleep is Alone (no blankets, toys or pillows), on their Back, and in a Crib (or pack and play).
