The Jo Daviess County All Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee will hold its first update meeting on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at 1 P.M. at the Crossroads Community Church, 900 Galena Square Drive, in Galena. This Committee, comprised of County and municipal representatives as well as technical partners and stakeholders, will meet over the next several months to update the County's All Hazards Mitigation Plan to reduce the damages caused by natural hazards and man – made hazards such as floods, thunderstorms, snow and ice storms and tornadoes, among others.
