Four Eastland Cougars competed at a Power Lifting competition, and walked away with plenty of hardware.
This past weekend (7/26-7/28), four Eastland student-athletes competed in the American Powerlifting Federation's (APF) "Summer Bash 16" meet, held at 2XL Powerlifting, a gym and training facility located in Lombard, Illinois. Sophomore Paul Sturtevant (football, wrestling, and track) competed in the Teen Men Raw 13-15 division, junior Cadin Colehour (football and track) and senior Eli Dertz (football, wrestling, baseball) competed in the Teen Men Raw 16-17 division, and Kaylee Hammer (basketball) competed in the Team Female Raw 16-17 division.
